momstown Whitby-Ajax is Running for the Cure!

momstown Whitby-Ajax is setting up a team to participate in the CIBC Run for the Cure this year on October 3rd alongside momstown Oshawa-Port Perry. We are welcoming all Durham Region moms to come out and join us! It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood!

This morning we headed out to Port Whitby Rotary Sunrise Park for an early morning stroll along the waterfront.

It was such a beautiful morning. The chance of rain had been threatened when I checked yesterday's weather report... but there was no sign of rain in sight this morning! The sun was shining, and there was a nice warm breeze, which I'm sure the kiddos appreciated.

We had quite a few members attend this morning. Once everyone meet-up, we proceeded for a walk down the promenade!

The kiddos were such troopers. There was a park and splash pad along the way that tempted most, as the temperatures slowly began to rise - so some made a pit stop there on the way back from our walk!! It made for a fun morning!

I know my little one is officially tuckered out... I'm sure I can say the same for everyone else!!

We're very happy to officially announce that momstown Whitby-Ajax is NOW OPEN! It has been a very busy few weeks planning events, preparing the website, and getting ready for launch - but we are excited to now be live and off the ground running!

Busy Little Worker Bee

There's no doubt about it over the past few weeks, I've turned into quite the busy little worker bee.

momstown Whitby-Ajax's launch is looming. The site is up, but not open to the public yet. I'm currently in the midst of planning and posting some great events to the calendar for the fall including:

• Apple Picking
• Zoo Trip
• Park' N Play
• momstown Movers & Shakers
• Bellies & Beyond; and,
• so much more...

I'm very excited to get the site live, and to get out and connecting with other local "neighbourhood" Moms! There's not much longer now.

momstown Birthday Bash!

This past month, momstown turned 3 years old! In celebration, momstown is throwing a HUGE birthday bash and celebrating by having a contest a day until the end of August. This contest is open to EVERYONE (not just members). All you have to do is visit momstown Contests daily to check out the newest, and latest contest to enter! It's that simple.

The momstown Birthday Bash is already on to day 11, and up for grabs today is this super cute Bebeboo Activity Toy.
