Sing a Song...

On Monday, momstown Whitby-Ajax members met up for their weekly toddler playgroup. This week's playgroup focused on the nursery rhymes: Sing A Song Of Sixpence, Baa Baa Black Sheep, and Humpty Dumpty.

We started off the playgroup with a quick circle time... where we went over each one of the nursery rhymes.

"Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses, And all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!"

"Sing a song of sixpence,
A pocket full of rye.
Four and twenty blackbirds,
Baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened,
The birds began to sing;
Wasn't that a dainty dish,
To set before the king?"

"Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full.
One for the master,
One for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane."

Following circle time the kids got right into making the crafts.

We had such a fun time learning new nursery rhymes! And I know other momstown chapters have too... momstown Newmarket - Aurora recently gathered to learn about the Five Little Ducks.
